Electronic Witches (Elektroničke Vještice)

Maja Čule’s debut feature follows Neda, freshly transplanted to NYC from Zagreb, as they navigate housing, being broke, and maintaining an unpredictable relationship with their conspiracy–loving father abroad. From the mysteries of fortune tellers and locked doors, to multi-media collages and dream sequences, the film orbits around Neda’s unshakeable obsession with its titular witches, two lesbians who advocated for women's right to internet literacy in the 90s.
