MIX NYC is now accepting queer experimental film submissions for MIX FEST 2025. We’re looking for bold and original works that experiment with form and challenge conventions of film and queerness. Our festival offers a platform for filmmakers, artists, and creators to showcase their work, connect with audiences, and participate in meaningful cultural dialogue.

We only consider submissions that:

• Are created by queer filmmakers and/or involve queer concepts, subjects, or themes.
• Challenge conventional filmmaking practices.

Granted the above criteria is met, we accept submissions across all modes and lengths, and from filmmakers at any stage of their careers.

Early Bird Deadline: June 1st, 2025

Regular Deadline: July 1st, 2025

Final Deadline: August 1st, 2025
